What BestPlaces Users Say about Park Ridge

Park Ridge, New Jersey is a small town located in Bergen County with a population of around 8,000 residents. It is known for its top-rated schools and family-friendly atmosphere. Many people are drawn to Park Ridge for its suburban feel and convenient location, just 30 minutes from New York City. However, as with any place, there are varying opinions on what it's like to live in Park Ridge. Let's take a look at some user reviews from BestPlaces.net to get a better understanding of living in Park Ridge.

- "My family and I have lived in Park Ridge for over 20 years and we absolutely love it here. The town has a strong sense of community and the schools are top-notch. It's a safe and peaceful place to raise a family." - Jane S.

- "I've been living in Park Ridge for a few years now and I have to say, it's a pretty boring town. There's not much to do here and the nightlife is non-existent. However, the schools are great and it's a nice, quiet place to come home to after a long day at work." - Michael W.

- "As someone who enjoys the outdoors, I love living in Park Ridge. The town has beautiful parks and hiking trails, plus it's only a short drive to the beach. It's the perfect balance of suburban and natural surroundings." - Sarah K.

- "I moved to Park Ridge from a big city and I have to admit, it was a bit of a culture shock. The pace of life here is much slower and there aren't as many things to do. But I've come to appreciate the peacefulness and friendly neighbors. It's a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life." - David L.

From these reviews, it's clear that Park Ridge is a desirable place to live for those seeking a safe and family-friendly community with great schools. However, it may not be the best fit for those looking for a more lively and active lifestyle. Overall, the general consensus is that Park Ridge offers a peaceful and pleasant suburban experience.

Great place to grow up - 2/4/2006
I was lucky enough to grow up here - Great schools (90+% of
my classmates went on to 4yr colleges with good names),

35-40 minutes to midtown, but traffic/commuting can be
awful.
